Acroyoga / Partner Yoga
The practice of AcroYoga is split into two parts, Acrobatic (Solar) and Therapeutic (Lunar). Each side explores the relationship between the mover and those being moved.
In the dynamic Solar practice, participants learn three different roles: Base (mover), Flyer (being moved), and Spotter (knowledge of both).
Lunar therapeutics embraces the deeply healing connection to metta—loving kindness. Here, the Giver is the mover, and the Receiver is the one being moved.
Balance is the midpoint between extremes, so it's best to explore this practice from all sides to know where your grounded passion truly lies.

The underlying theory of Tai Chi is that the mind, body, and breath must be unified for wholeness and complete health. This ancient art is practiced alone in forms - including the famous Long Form which can take 20 minutes to complete, or the Short Form which can be done in four minutes.

Meaning that each practitioner can adapt, modify, and make each posture, and each part of the practice their own. The whole emphasis, and practice, of Baptiste style of yoga is to challenge you to experience a transformation, but starting from where YOU are presently, and steadily building to a place that allows you to authentically experience the yogic rewards of being stronger, more supple, relaxed, and generally less tense. A good yoga practice will give you the overall sense of being strong and stress free, but again the beauty of Baptiste style is that you work at your own level of ability, fitness level, and simply do what you can, and from there the sky is the limit.
